birthday mornings are for museums.

this was a very special birthday, the most important person in my life went out of his way to treat me like a queen. my life just keep getting better & i am eternally grateful, and on top of that weather was perfect for my new zara coat. i've been waiting for too long to wear this baby, and it feels sooooo good! to end the night, we went to lower greenville /dallas/ to pig out on crawfish.. because who cares about anyone's figure or health.

as much as i enjoy photography, lately i haven't been taking photos just 'for the sake of photography.'my love for it seems to be diminishing because i'm not doing as well as i'd like to be, time to just relax & shoot just for the love of it. my need for perfection & structure is what make my work boring. welp! here are some photos taken from a year ago, theres a huge difference from then & now.

to be specific, they are vintage inspired light bulbs. 

this beauty is hanging right over our bed.

on another note, i'm completely obsessed with gardening now? i can't help it, i think it might be my calling. i can't speak for everyone ,but, the ability to grow your own crops & flowers feels immensely satisfying. unfortunately, i don't have the space to start one at this moment. 

but i'm feeling hopeful!

ICE ICE ICE

a little snow never hurts anyone?
well, when it rains pellets that turns into ice it does! just yesterday there was over 1 inch of ice stuck all over my car. what should one do in this situation? stay INSIDE you say? well i'm way ahead of you there! excuse my irritation, however, being a texan i haven't gotten a clue how to deal with snow or ice. don't get me wrong, being such an introvert i wouldn't want any thing more than to stay in, but, the feeling of knowing that i can't drive my car to get a bowl of pho on a cold day is just... absurd.
